Anyone who uses Microsoft’s SwiftKey keyboard on Android is in for a treat, as the keyboard now supports copying and pasting between Android and Windows, which is extremely useful to have.
The latest updated version of SwiftKey keyboard , has new feature which will enable users to copy and paste text between your Android smartphone and a Windows PC. Copying and pasting can go both ways, so you can move text from Android to PC or from PC to Android.
But Before users can use this new feature on Windows, you’ll need to have Windows 10 (October 2018 update version ), or Windows 11 installed on your PC. Also, users must have the latest version of SwiftKey installed on their Android phone or tablet. The feature isn’t enabled by default.
HOW TO ENABLE THESE FEATURE:
Go to the SwiftKey Keyboard Settings on your Android device, then tap “Rich input,” followed by “Clipboard.” From there, tap the “Sync Clipboard history” toggle to turn the feature on.
On your PC, go to the Settings app, then “System,” and finally “Clipboard.” Once there, click “Clipboard history,” then toggle on “Sync across your devices.”
Once you have everything set up, you’ll be able to copy and paste text from your Android phone to your Windows PC, which is definitely a nice feature to have.
